Clean place with fairly friendly staff and incredible views across the mountains of the distant Auckland skyline. Gorgeous and fairly clean place, amazing view across mountains of distant Auckland skyline. The most important - marvellous location out in the rain forest. Really close to the Heritage restaurant. Big units and exceptional staff especially Manager and Receptionist.

Less than 1 hour from Auckland downtown and located in the hills of the Waitakere Ranges, this hotel is perfectly suited for a weekend trip into nature and is for those that like to have some comfort after some hikes in the ranges. It is definitely not the cheapest option in the region but is vey well maintained and very calm.

No shuttle service to Auckland CBD or airport. Fairly isolated. Transportation is expensive! Lobby & reception are dated.
